Atheists: Why do you dismay that you can not discern that which is spirit with your intellect?

Atheists aka natural, why do you not understand that you can not possibly ever discern that which is spiritual with the use of your intellect. Your five natural senses can not sense that which is spirit. Why won't you at least attempt to get in touch with your spirituality, do you not know that you are a spirit, you live a natural body of flesh blood and bone, and you have a soul. will you first accept that fact ? That would be a good start to discerning that which is spirit and of the world of the spirit.
