When I was working on my first degree, 1984-1988, I attended a school where there were no black students...at least I never saw them. Actually I had not thought about it until now. When I went to work on my nursing degree I was in a school that was color blind so to speak.We had one black frat and no black sorority. I don't remember thinking anything different about the frat but some felt the members acted arrogantly or that they felt they were to be afforded a higher status than others on campus. Honestly, I was there for an education and was not all that concerned about others thought of me let alone anyone else.
