I know there are tons of earthquakes each year,large and small. but are quakes above 7.0 more this year?

more than previous years? there is like hundreds of quakes above 6.0 yearly. but how about above 7.0? 2010, there is Haiti, Chili, Baja Caliornia, Sumatra, these are ones i know about.
