Why is it that so many people hate the jews?

I honestly don't get it. What's wrong with them? My dad says maybe its because they "bully" the palestinians and took their land. The palestinians are the arabs, and that the jews kill hundreds of palestines every single day and the palestines respond by killing the jews. Other people say its because their greedy money-hungry jerks, and honestly there are jews that are like that. They only care about money,money,money, but are there other reasons why. I know FOR SURE that not all jews are bad, but honestly, people don't care and still hate their guts...paula abdul is jewish, she's like, the nicest woman in the world!
