Is it safe to wear an opponents jersey at an Oakland A's home game?

I've never been to a game in Oakland, and I wanna wear my throwback Rod Carew California Angels jersey to the A's vs Angels game i'm going to next weekend in Oakland. I don't really want a beat-down on the way to my car afterwards by drunken A's fans. Is this safe? I'm going to the game alone.
