Is my computer worthy of upgrading?

I'd say upgrading may cost you more then a new computer. Your computer is using an AGP graphics card still, and though its not a terrible card, to upgrade it to something better would not be worth it. Getting a motherboard with PCI-E slots is a must for the newest games. If you upgraded your motherboard and graphics card, you would also need to upgrade CPU, memory, and power supply.
